The House of Flowers is a Mexican black comedy-drama television series created by Manolo Caro, who we call the closest person to a Mexican Almodovar. It depicts a dysfunctional upper-class Mexican family that owns a prestigious flower shop called ‘La Casa de las Flores’. The series, almost entirely written and directed by its creator, stars Telenovela ICON Verónica Castro. It’s a soap opera made for the Netflix viewer. It brings to light the struggle of being true to your sexuality in a world dominated by macho culture. Won’t give away any spoilers but you can catch a glimpse into the drag world of Mexico City!
